


Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Monina Josefina Romualdez of the agency’s Operations Group (OG) conveys Secretary Rex Gatchalian’s message of support to the Department of Health (DOH) during the official launching of the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project Information System (PMNP – IS) at the Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in the City of Manila on Wednesday (April 30).
Spearheaded by the DOH in partnership with the DSWD, the PMNP-IS is a digital platform designed to streamline the delivery and monitoring of nutrition and social protection programs, particularly for pregnant women and children under 2 years old.
DOH executives led by Secretary Ted Herbosa thanked the DSWD for its support to the system and to the broader goals of the PMNP, citing the importance of innovation and collaboration in driving better nutrition and health outcomes for Filipinos.
Other DSWD officials present during the PMNP-IS launching were Assistant Secretary Johannes Paulus Acuña of the Information and Communications Technology Management Service (ICTMS) and Director Bernadette Mapue-Joaquin of the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS).
Also attending the event were World Bank representatives led by Lead Economist and Human Development Program Leader for Philippines, Malaysia and Brunei Tara Beitelle
