The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), led by its Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), holds the kick-off activity to mark the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month on Monday (May 5) at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City.
Undersecretary Adonis Sulit of the DSWD Policy and Plans Group (PPG), who also serves as the agency’s CART vice chairperson, led the EODB activity along with Asst. Secretary Rodolfo Santos of Planning under the PPG, who is also the agency’s alternate CART vice chairperson, and Director Wayne Belizar of the Management Service (MS).
The DSWD’s invited guests — United Nations (UN) World Food Programme (WFP) Philippines Deputy Country Director Dipayan Bhattacharyya and Visions of Hope Foundation, Inc. Officer-in-Charge John Marcel Tabije — provided testimonials as partner and client of the Department, respectively.
Director Karina Antonette Agudo of the Administrative Service (AS) also shared a testimonial as one of the process owners of the Department.
Bannering the theme, “Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas,” the EODB Month is celebrated every month of May pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 818, s. 2019. (AKDL)
