Standards and Capacity Building Cluster (SCBG) Asst. Secretary Janet P. Armas talks on the existing process on the licensing and accreditation of Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) during the Thursday Media Forum at the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Central Office in Quezon City on September 26.

Asst. Secretary Armas came in prepared in replying to questions of reporters on the Family Week Celebration, the status of children rescued from Gentle Hands Inc. and the non-renewal of the five residential care facilities affiliated with the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC).

The DSWD Thursday Media Forum is organized by the DSWD Strategic Communications Group and hosted by Special Assistant to the Secretary (SAS) for Communications Raymond Robert Burgos and Director IV Aldrine Fermin of the Traditional Media Service.#
