The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Psychological First Aid (PFA) providers meet with the members of the Philippine Rapid Response Deployment Team (PRRDT) on Saturday night (April 12) to discuss updates on the conduct of the first day of the ‘Kamustahan’ or psychosocial counseling sessions with individuals affected by the 7.7 magnitude quake that hit Myanmar on March 28.
On the first day of the ‘Kamustahan’, the PFA team provided 27 survivors with psychosocial intervention with three individuals having separate sessions with the psychologist for more intensive counseling.
Representatives from the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and the Philippine Embassy in Myanmar joined the meeting.
