The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office (FO) 12 – Soccsksargen conducted a validation and assessment operations on Sunday (September 15) across flooded areas in the province of Maguindanao del Norte due to the heavy rainfall caused by the southwest monsoon and Tropical Storm “Ferdie.”

The operation, facilitated by the FO’s Disaster Risk and Management Division (DRMD) was closely followed by the distribution of family food packs to identified families and communities affected by the weather disturbance.

The FO 12 is actively coordinating with concerned local government units (LGUs) to provide more relief assistance to communities impacted by the effects of southwest monsoon and TS Ferdie.#
