The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is eyeing the inclusion of a feedback mechanism to its newly-launched Kaagapay Donations Portal to further improve donor’s experience.

“Sa mga susunod na mga buwan, ilulunsad po namin yung feedback mechanism para malaman po ng mga donors kung papaano po ito [Kaagapay Portal] ma-a-access,” Assistant Secretary Marie Rafael of the DSWD’s Partnership Building and Resource Mobilization Office (PBRMO) said in a radio interview last Sunday (March 2).

Asst. Secretary Rafael, who is also on top of this agency initiative, told radio station DZRH the DSWD will have a roadshow to promote the features of the Kaagapay Donations Portal and another newly-launched system of the Department, the Harmonized Electronic License Permit System (HELPS).

“Mag-iikot po kami sa buong bansa para rito at i-iimprove po namin yung aming mga serbisyo through the feedback mechanism para malaman kung nahihirapan kayo at kung papaano po mas madaling maka-access sa mga serbisyo ng DSWD through the Kaagapay portal,” Asst. Secretary Rafael added.

The roadshow will also feature the donation portal’s payment gateway partners, such as the Landbank of the Philippines, GCash, and Maya.

During the interview, the Asst. Secretary Rafael said the agency is also working with other payment platforms such as DragonPay to include other payment portals in the Kaagapay’s system as this will provide more payment options for donors in sending their cash donations to the DSWD, partner-social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs), or partner- local government units (LGUs).

The Kaagapay Donations Portal is an online platform for donors to send their cash donations either to the DSWD for disaster relief operations and/or for in-kind and cash donations to DSWD centers and residential care facilities (CRCFs).

The portal also links donations to DSWD-registered and licensed SWDAs as well as to LGUs engaged in humanitarian response during times of disasters and emergencies. (AKDL)
