The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) has produced another board topnotcher in the licensure test for electrical engineering graduates.
Mustafa Rescober Ali from Santa Cruz, Marinduque is a former monitored child of the 4Ps who landed the Top 2nd spot in the April 2025 Licensure Examination for Electrical Engineering.
Mustafa graduated cum laude from the Rizal Technological University (RTU) with a course of BS Electrical Engineering.
“The DSWD extends its felicitations to Engr. Mustafa, who is the latest addition to the growing list of former 4Ps monitored children board topnotchers. We are proud of your achievements and we hope that your story of hard work and determination will inspire more 4Ps children to reach for their dreams,” Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao, the DSWD’s spokesperson, said on Saturday (May 3).
In April, a former 4Ps monitored child also topped the 2025 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination (ETLE).
Jayvee Fuentebella, who hails from Bacolod City, nailed the highest score of 95 percent out of the 2,411 examinees. Jayvee shared the first spot with four other ETLE takers.
In 2024, close to 40,000 former 4Ps beneficiaries became board passers with 65 of them topping various licensure examinations.
The 4Ps is the national poverty reduction strategy and a human capital investment program of the Philippine government, with the DSWD as the lead agency.
Eligible household-beneficiaries are entitled to receive cash grants provided that the conditions on health, nutrition, and education are complied with.
