More than 1,000 residents of Bacoor City in Cavite, who were affected by Super Typhoon Carina in July and a fire incident in Barangay Zapote 3 in September, line up on Friday (October 25) to receive their emergency cash transfer (ECT) assistance from personnel of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office (FO)-CALABARZON.

Each beneficiary received Php24,960 with the DSWD releasing more than Php36 million for the cash payout.

Overseeing the distribution of the cash aid at the Bacoor Coliseum were DSWD FO-CALABARZON Regional Director Barry Chua who was accompanied by Asst. Regional Director Mylah Gatchalian.

Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr., Bacoor City Congresswoman Lani Mercado, and Mayor Strike Revilla were also present to witness the aid giving to the beneficiaries. #
