


Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian, Regional Director Venus Rebuldela of DSWD Field Office 3- Central Luzon, and President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Alcazar of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) on Friday (July 11) firm up an agreement to establish a Regional Disaster Response Command Center (RDRCC) and warehouse facility at the Clark Civil Aviation Complex (CCAC) and the Industrial Estate 5 (IE5).
The new RDRCC and warehouse are expected to strengthen the capacity of the DSWD to preposition and deliver relief goods to nearby regions during disasters and calamities.
Present to witness the signing of the memorandum of agreement (MOA) were Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda; CIAC Directors Rommel Ma. Santiago and Anthony Emmanuel Tulabut; and President and Chief Executive Officer (PCEO) Joshua Bingcang of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
Undersecretary Diana Rose Cajipe and Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao of the DSWD’s Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) also witnessed the agreement signing. (AKDL)
