Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar of the agency’s International Affairs, Attached and Supervised Agencies (IAASA) is the Permanent Focal Point of the Philippine Senior Officials Meeting on Social Welfare and Development (SOMSWD). She co-chairs the first day of the 13th ASEAN Social Work Consortium (ASWC) Conference on Tuesday (April 29) via hybrid session at the DSWD Central Office’s Katapatan Boardroom in Quezon City.

Joining Undersecretary Villar as co-chair of the conference was ASEAN Social Work Consortium (ASWC) Philippines Chairperson Glady Bunao.

DSWD Assistant Secretary Elaine Fallarcuna of the IAASA, members of the ASWC Philippines, and the ASEAN Secretariat also participated in the online conference. (AKDL)
