Swift Action: DSWD Unloads 1,700 Food Packs in Apayao

As a proactive measure against the potential effects of Tropical Storm #KristinePH in the region, the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) is currently unloading around 1,700 family food packs in Apayao province on Wednesday (October 23).

The FO CAR is collaborating with 55 dedicated volunteers from the 17th Infantry Battalion, Reserve Personnel of the Philippine Army, to ensure the timely distribution and support for affected communities.

With a strong commitment to providing immediate relief, this collaborative effort aims to safeguard the well-being of families as they face the challenges posed by the approaching storm.
