In its continuing efforts to assist the oil spill-affected residents of Oriental Mindoro, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through its Field Office MIMAROPA, is conducting Wednesday (May 17) simultaneous payout activities for its Cash-for-Work (CFW) program for those who lost their sources of income due to the massive oil spill.

Around 8,179 cash-for-work beneficiaries from the municipalities of Gloria, Roxas, Bongabong,  Bansud, Baco,  San Teodoro, Victoria and Socorro are expected to receive Php 5,325 each in exchange for the work they rendered in helping clean up the oil spill in their respective areas.
