Garnering a higher performance rating in the latest results of the Tugon ng Masa Survey (TNM), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) expressed its gratitude to the Filipino people and to the DSWD workers for being instrumental in the fulfillment of the Department’s mandate.

Based on the TNM 2022 fourth quarter survey results by OCTA Research, the DSWD posted a 76 percent overall satisfaction rating from the respondents for its performance in the past three months, making the Department at Top 3 among the most performing government agencies.

The DSWD said that the positive performance rating of the Department was a result of the trust of its clientele and the unwavering commitment of its employees. The result, likewise, proved that the DSWD is effective in delivering social protection packages to the most vulnerable, poor, and disadvantaged sectors of society.

Furthermore, the same survey revealed that 99 percent of the respondents said that they are aware of the DSWD and its operations. This result validated that the presence of the DSWD was seen and felt, most especially during times of crises and disasters. The favorable rating also indicated that the public approved of the government’s response to the needs of disaster-hit communities.

The independent and non-commissioned survey made by Tugon ng Masa was done from October 23 to 27, to 1,200 respondents aged 18 years old and above from Class AB, C, D, and E nationwide.

The Department noted that the favorable response from Filipinos manifests that they are satisfied with the service provided to them. ###
