Volunteers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) unload boxes of family food packs (FFPs) that arrived in a warehouse of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office-1 in Laoag City on Thursday (July 27).
The new batch of FFPs are part of the 20,000 food packs that DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian ordered to be immediately dispatched to the Ilocos Region for the ongoing operations to assist families displaced by Super Typhoon Egay.
